Fans have heavily criticised the referee and VAR decisions, expressing frustration over the officiating in the draw.

From an analytical perspective, we dont intend taking anything away from Bournemouth, who performed well within their level. They maintained possession and showed resilience to fight back into the game.

Manchester United could have gone 2–0 up early, which might have effectively ended the contest. However, the game shifted to 1–1 before United regained the lead at 2–1 through an own goal by James Hill in the 71st minute.

The turning point came when Harry Maguire conceded a penalty and received a red card, leaving United with ten men and allowing Bournemouth to equalise. The dismissal means Maguire will miss upcoming matches.

Putting it into perspective, United were in control at 2–0, and the game could have been settled. However, fans believe VAR and refereeing decisions lacked clarity and consistency.
