Igor Tudor has refused to discuss whether he is the right man to lead Tottenham Hotspur during their difficult period, as pressure continues to build on the club’s interim head coach.
The Croatian manager responded with a brief “no comment” when asked about his suitability for the role during a press interaction reported by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X handle.
his statement:
Igor Tudor when asked if he’s the right man for Spurs job in this key moment: “No comment”. “I don’t want to think in negative way. There are problems but we are all together in this”.
Tottenham’s struggles have intensified in recent weeks. The North London side suffered a heavy 5–2 defeat against Atlético Madrid in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie in the UEFA Champions League.
The defeat continued a difficult start for Tudor, who has now lost each of his first four matches since taking charge. Despite the poor run of results and speculation over his future, Tottenham have confirmed that Tudor will still conduct the club’s pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of their crucial clash with Liverpool, Softfootball understands.

Spurs have not recorded a victory in the Premier League since December, leaving the club under increasing pressure as they prepare for a challenging trip to Anfield.
Club officials have so far decided to keep Tudor in charge while the team attempts to stabilise results during a difficult phase of the season.
Meanwhile, in other news, Axel Disasi has spoken positively about his loan spell at West Ham United. The defender said he is enjoying his football again after a difficult period at Chelsea, where he struggled for playing time before joining the Hammers earlier this year.
