Igor Tudor will take the club’s pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of their crucial clash with Liverpool, Softfootball reports.

The update was reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X handle, confirming that Tudor is scheduled to address the media at 1:30pm ahead of the trip to Anfield.

he stated:

Tottenham confirm Igor Tudor is now scheduled to take his press conference on Friday ahead of the Liverpool match, @AlasdairGold reports.

Despite speculation surrounding his future, Tottenham have kept Tudor in place for now as the team prepares for a difficult away fixture. Spurs have endured a difficult run of form, failing to win a match in the Premier League since December.

Their struggles have also extended to Europe, with Tottenham suffering a heavy 5–2 defeat to Atlético Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie. Tudor has lost each of his first four matches in charge since taking over the role.

The Croatian coach was appointed interim head coach on February 13, 2026, and has been in charge for just over three weeks. However, pressure is already mounting as results continue to disappoint.

Tottenham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table and are dangerously close to the relegation zone, with teams such as Nottingham Forest, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers picking up points behind them.

The situation has sparked serious concern among supporters, particularly after a disappointing 3–1 home defeat to Crystal Palace earlier this month.

According to reports, Tudor’s position could come under immediate review if Tottenham fail to improve results in upcoming fixtures against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest before the international break.

Liverpool, meanwhile, remain highly motivated as they continue their push for a top-four finish with fewer than ten league matches remaining. Facing a side with attacking quality and strong home form at Anfield presents a significant challenge for a Tottenham team currently struggling for consistency.

With the club unexpectedly drawn into a relegation battle, the upcoming fixtures could prove decisive in determining both Tottenham’s season and Tudor’s short-term future on the touchline.
