Arsenal could be on the verge of one of the most remarkable seasons in their history, with the possibility of winning multiple trophies during the 2025/26 campaign.
Softfootball believes, several competition draws and results have placed Arsenal in a very favourable position across domestic and European tournaments.
Carabao Cup journey
In the EFL Cup, Arsenal’s path to the final has been relatively manageable. Aside from a tough semi-final clash against Chelsea, most of the teams they faced were sides they were expected to defeat.
Arsenal ultimately eliminated Chelsea over two legs and have now reached the final where they will face Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.
FA Cup draw
The latest draw in the FA Cup has also been viewed as favourable for Arsenal.
The quarter-final fixtures include:
- Arsenal vs Southampton
- Chelsea vs Port Vale
- Manchester City vs Liverpool
- West Ham United vs Leeds United
On paper, Arsenal’s tie against Southampton appears less difficult compared to the heavyweight clash between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Champions League path
Arsenal’s route in the UEFA Champions League could also play a major role in their season. They will face Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Round of 16. If they progress, their potential quarter-final opponents could be either Sporting CP or FK Bodø/Glimt.
Should Arsenal reach the semi-finals, they could meet one of several strong sides including Barcelona, Atlético Madrid or Newcastle United.
A season of opportunity
Given the draws and their strong performances so far, Softfootball analysts believe Arsenal have placed themselves in an excellent position to compete for multiple trophies this season.
