Victor Osimhen faces three club offers in dramatic transfer race

Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga has reached a boiling point, with three clubs vying for his signature and two top managers making direct phone calls in a span of 48 hours. The Napoli and Nigeria striker is now at the center of one of the most intense transfer chases of the summer.

Liverpool have intensified negotiations with Napoli, reportedly tabling a creative triple-swap deal involving Darwin Núñez, Federico Chiesa, and €20 million in cash. Softfootball earlier gathered that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is holding firm, demanding Osimhen’s €75 million release clause be met.

While Liverpool pursue Osimhen through tough negotiations, other clubs are appealing directly to the player. Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has personally called Osimhen, urging him to make a permanent move to Turkey.

Galatasaray’s vice president Abdullah Kavucku echoed the urgency, saying,

“We made a much higher offer than other clubs. We want Osimhen and have spoken with Napoli. There is no Plan B.”

Before Buruk’s call, Simone Inzaghi — now in charge of Saudi giants Al-Hilal — also reached out to Osimhen. The club is offering a staggering €40 million per year for three seasons, making Osimhen the highest-paid Nigerian footballer ever.

Earlier, Softfootball reported that Al-Hilal are ready to activate the full €75 million release clause on Osimhen, making the financial aspect of the deal highly attractive. The Saudi Pro League pitch was carefully crafted to appeal both competitively and financially.

For Osimhen, the options are compelling: embrace Galatasaray’s ambitious project in Turkey, secure a record-breaking payday with Al-Hilal, or step into the Premier League spotlight with Liverpool. Three clubs, three visions, two direct calls, and one decision looming for one of football’s most sought-after forwards.
