Super Eagles and Fulham forward Samuel Chukwueze has announced the funeral arrangements for his late mother, Prophetess (Dr.) Mrs. Serah Chinyere Chukwueze (née Onyegbule), who passed away at the age of 59.
Softfootball gathered, the family has released the full programme for her final rites, which will take place in Umuahia, Abia State, beginning with a wake keep and followed by the funeral service and interment.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

FRIDAY, 29TH MAY 2026 6:30am — Body departs from Madonna Mortuary, Umuahia,
Proceeding to:
• Her husband’s hometown, Oko‑Item, Bende LGA (brief stopover)
• Elohim Divine Miracle Assembly, Umuahia (church service tribute)
• Maternal home, Amaeke Ibeku
• Finally to her son’s residence at Isieke Ibeku for lying‑in‑state
Funeral Service — 11:00am Isieke Primary/Secondary School Field, Umuahia (Ibeku)
Interment — 1:00pm The burial follows immediately after the funeral service at her son’s residence in Isieke Ibeku, where she will be laid to rest.
Family, friends, church members, and well‑wishers are expected to gather in large numbers to honour the life and legacy of a woman described as a devoted servant of God, a loving mother, and a community pillar.
