Chelsea’s 18-year-old attacker Dastan Satpayev is set to join Burnley on a season-long loan as the club continues to develop the youngster through first-team football.

Satpayev was part of Chelsea’s pre-season tour of Australia and Asia, gaining valuable experience around Xabi Alonso’s first-team squad. He will now move to Turf Moor for the 2026/27 campaign.

The loan is designed to provide the teenager with regular senior football and an opportunity to continue his development in the Premier League environment.

The move comes after Softfootball reported yesterday that Chelsea’s 17:00 Friday deadline for a potential Enzo Fernández transfer had passed without Manchester City or any other club submitting a written offer.

The previously discussed £120 million exit conditions, which had been verbally made available to Fernández’s representatives since May, are now off the table.

Chelsea had made those terms available to the midfielder’s camp for potential suitors, but with no formal offer arriving before the deadline, the Blues now expect Fernández to remain at Stamford Bridge for the 2026/27 season.
